The space is a private cabin nestled in the woods designed for couples to get away. It has a modern, designer-inspired style rather than the rustic wood look that is prevalent in Mentone. It has an amazing outdoor space with incredible porches on the front with rockers and a porch swing. It has an outdoor fireplace, hot tub, charcoal grill, and a bistro set to enjoy your private views on the covered porch off the bedroom.
You can enter the cottage from an accessibility ramp on the front or off 3 steps to the back porch and enter through the bedroom.
PLEASE NOTE: In the fall, acorns are falling. This is generally not a problem. Please make sure you are not parked under falling acorns as we cannot control that or be responsible if nature happens.

Please note: GPS may not take you directly to the cottage. It will take you to County Road 614. Just stay on the road about ½ mile and go to the 3rd house on the right. Please look for the Snuggle Inn/ProvidenceStays signs. Your cabin is the cabin to the back and up the hill. The first 2 cabins on the right are our cabins and you may see the ProvidenceStays signs in front.
Driving directions from I-59 North:
- Take Exit 231 for AL-40/AL-117 toward Hammondville/Valley Head (.3 Mi)
- Turn right onto AL-117 S/AL-40 E (1.2 Mi)
- Turn right onto US-11 S (0.1 mi.)
- Turn left onto AL-117 S (4.3 mi.)
- Turn right onto Co Rd 89 Go Approx. 1.5 miles and go through the 4-Way stop.
-Turn right on Hwy 614 is .3 miles from the 4-Way stop
- Your cottage is 1/2 mile on your right with a Snuggle Inn/ProvidenceStays sign by the road
